Each of us experiences periods of grief in our lifetime. Children’s understanding of death develops until the age of about 9. It is an important milestone in their life: they assimilate the irreversible, universal and physiological notion of death. So how can we best guide young children in their acceptance of bereavement?
Daphné had the idea of a small book that can be read with the child, to help overcome the taboo of death. Each page asks a question and opens the dialogue between the adult and child. Educational videos complement the book thanks to QR codes. The universe is gentle, light-hearted and bright. The illustrations are vivid and symbolic, and let the reader choose their answers freely.
